Dear Army

Dear Army,
I am tired of being second to you when it comes to my relationship with my husband. I bet you are oh so jealous when he's on leave and you can't control him...well, kind of....You think you are so better than me because you get him whenever and where ever you want without repercussions eh? Well you mean old hag, when he retires what are you going to do then? Yeah, you MAY still have your measly little hands on him a few years after but what are you going to do after your hold? Oh yeah, there are many other men and women you have your grubby hands on, telling them what to do, how they should "handle" their spouses, and leave their children to cry wondering when "mommy or daddy" will be home.

BUT...

You have your perks. You pay for a lot of things such as our medical bills and our housing arrangements. I guess you are good for some things eh? Not that packing us up and sending us to the frozen tundra is your idea of a "great time" but you have managed to keep me on my toes these past 7 years. My mom will be done dealing with your mess soon and I'm quite jealous but she's done with her life sentence after 20 years. I suppose I can continue being the mistress while you sit back and laugh at my insignificance's of being called:

The Army Wife. A.K.A "The Silent Ranks"

This letter is linked to the SITS site so go over and check them out, they are AMAZING!

Oh, God bless you! My mom (USAF wife of 20+ years) always said that it wasn't just the soldiers who served, it was the families! Happy SITS Friday!

You deserve a raise.

About Twilight: It would be nearly impossible to do full justice to my fantasies. But I was still hoping to see them come to life on the big screen. It was fun anyway. I'm sure I'll enjoy it more the second time around. And Believe me, there WILL be a second time :D

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I understand what you're saying. I really loved the book series, and I watch the trailers and sometimes it doesn't look like the best acting. But I hope it is...but then I wonder if it will be how I imagined it in my mind. Like I pictured Alice different and Edward with smaller hair.

I feel your pain except my husbands "army" is his trucking company. You have my sympathy for sure. :)

Oh this is so true. If only we could send these letters to the Pentagon and they'd care.
